Legendary Irish pianist John O’Conor has earned a worldwide reputation as a masterful interpreter of the classic and early-romantic repertoires, gathering wonderful reviews for his masterly playing for over forty years.
He has performed with the world’s leading orchestras and toured internationally in recital and concerto appearances. In this Piano Recital, O'Conor will perform some of the most famous works in the classical canon, including Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and Chopin's most beloved pieces.
Having studied in his native Dublin, in Vienna with Dieter Weber and being tutored by the legendary Wilhelm Kempff, O'Conor's unanimous 1st Prize at the International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna in 1973 opened the door to a career that has brought him all around the globe.
