Grace by Jody O’Neill

as part of Dublin Theatre Festival 2024

A new play for young people and families from Jody O'Neill (What I (Don’t) Know About Autism), Grace tells the story of a girl who has a relationship with her father where no words are needed. In fact, Grace doesn’t use words to talk at all. When her father dies suddenly, Grace needs to find a new way to communicate.

"A ghost, a sparrow, a mother and a girl. Love doesn’t need words. You can just feel it."*

This exciting new production explores family and communication as Grace and her father invite you into the multisensory landscape of Grace’s world.

All performances of Grace are relaxed performances, making them more accessible for people with sensory sensitivities. All performances include captions. There will also be audio described and ISL interpreted performances. If you would like to receive a visual guide or audio programme notes in advance of the performance, please email boxoffice@paviliontheatre.ie
