Unwrap the Magic of Christmas at Pavilion Theatre!

Christmas is close at hand! With the special season coming soon, our Gift Vouchers that can be used for all events – including our upcoming Spring 2024 programme – could be the perfect gift for your loved ones. Now, let’s take a quick look at what is coming up at Pavilion Theatre this Christmas…

Kicking things off, the Dublin Gospel Choir (Thu 7 Dec) join us for a sold-out Christmas concert! Remember that you can always join the waiting list from the event page. The following day, we will have another brilliant concert, this time from acclaimed singer and composer Eimear Quinn (Fri 8 Dec) - an annual favourite for many who return each December for Eimear’s spiritual and soothing seasonal music.

From 14 to 17 December, we are thrilled to present the fantastic family theatre show, A Christmas Carol, adapted by Aaron Monaghan and Bryan Burrough based on Charles Dickens’ much loved novella. Back by popular demand, this play is anticipated to be an excellent opportunity to experience Dickens’ timeless literary classic with much joy, warmth, and playfulness.

If you are interested in fairy tale with spectacular dancing, our Royal Opera House screening of festive ballet classic Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker (Thu 14 & Fri 15 Dec) from The Royal Ballet is not to be missed. Another masterpiece, It’s a Wonderful Life (Sat 16 Dec) directed by Frank Capra, will also be shown the following day, offering the time to revisit this celebrated Christmas classic from 1946.

For literary enthusiasts, the Stage Reading of Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan (Thu 19 Dec) will be a  major highlight– expect an evening in the company of the Booker Prize-nominated novel, finely directed by Ben Barnes and accompanied by original music by Eleanor McEvoy. There are just a tiny handful of tickets remaining!

Finally, on the 21 & 22 December, we will screen six all-time favourite Christmas movies suitable for all ages. We begin with Room on the Broom & The Highway Rat, The Muppet Christmas Carol, and Elf, with The Snowman & Stick Man, The Greatest Showman Sing-Along, and Home Alone the following day. Grab your snacks and join us for this unbeatable line-up.
